Bob has been in the automotive business for over 30 years and has worked for Volkswagen of America, Toyota, and currently is an executive at General Motors Service and Parts Operations. Most of Bob’s working career has been devoted to the implementation of Lean Warehousing concepts, based on the Toyota Production System. He is currently responsible for developing a lean-thinking organization and has global lean warehousing responsibilities for GM’s $14.4 billion service parts business.

He is a highly acclaimed presenter and regularly speaks at Industrial Conferences and has undertaken lecture tours of Europe and Asia at the invitation of local Universities & Confederations of Industry. He has published widely in the area of supply chain management and is Editorial Advisor to a number of top journals in the area.
